As do I.... Let's see. I have Vortex rearsets, flipped stock clip-ons, shortened frontend, Racing 905 Stunt Stay, Custom Vixen Cycles 12 bar, subcage, and crash cage, '08 Gix wheels, a K&N, a 525 set up with -1+13, a tip sensor mod, and I removed all the emissions and set-valve stuff.

Re: Postwhoring thread

In Texas too? Damn. The worst part is, my bike is totally back together as soon as I bolt the tank on. I was really hoping that would be 20 minutes After I got home. Could ride tonight if there wasn't a freaking downpour. Not that I'm afraid of a little rain, just not taking the sprocketed bike out for THE FIRST TIME in a rainstorm.

Re: Postwhoring thread

Just got hand brake all installed and now this. :banghead

OldManJimmy 09-10-2009 10:22 PM

Re: Postwhoring thread

If I didn't break so easy now I would do like they did in XDL and hit it in the rain.

MoHawk 09-10-2009 10:23 PM

Re: Postwhoring thread

I'm all about riding in the rain... but not crashing and dying in the rain. And what are you using for a handbrake? I need one

Magura master, Hohey dual rear caliper setup with two stock 03 636 calipers. It's way more responsive than I expected. Very easy to lock the rear tire one fingered. :yeah

Re: Postwhoring thread

This may sound funny but I keep hurting my heels from having to step off the back of the bike. :LOL

Re: Postwhoring thread

Broke one and went and bought a stock 636 rear set before I put the bmx pegs on my rear axle. Take the carter key out of the rear axle, put a long allthread rod through with two nuts one on each side then cut the pegs off just a hair past a line between the SI cage and the rear bmx pegs so when I crash like I do a lot I don't break any rear sets or pegs any more.

I love them. Super grippy. I have a feeling I need to cut them down though. They might break. I haven't had a chance to really do a good sesh yet... keep running into issues.

Re: Postwhoring thread

Your happy with the situation every stunter in the USA has no place set aside where we can legally stunt?

OldManJimmy 09-10-2009 10:46 PM

Re: Postwhoring thread

That's why we don't have a place is most the people are just like you.

MoHawk 09-10-2009 10:47 PM

Re: Postwhoring thread

There are places. You just have to do some work. You can't just drag race anywhere. The nearest strip to me is over an hour.

OldManJimmy 09-10-2009 10:47 PM

Re: Postwhoring thread

You just quietly pay your tickets and swallow the beating you get every time you get caught stunting on the roads :banghead

MoHawk 09-10-2009 10:47 PM

Re: Postwhoring thread

You can't just drift anywhere. You are not the only one in that situation.

We are in the Dallas area which is not a small area and there is NO where legal to stunt here any more.

MoHawk 09-10-2009 10:48 PM

Re: Postwhoring thread

Pay the tickets? What?! You can't ticket what you can't catch

Not asking to, want somewhere that we have like a skate park for skaters that we can do our thing legally without getting tickets for trespassing, reckless driving etc.
