slow wheelies

how long did it take for everyone to start slowing down there wheeleis ? been practicing trying to slow down 2nd gear wheelies 1st gear is to jerky.

it just clicked. i started lowing down 2nd gear wheelies first. what kind of gearing are you running

it took me forever ...lol

if you know any one with a four wheeler it is the easiest way to learn rear brake control and balance point

Yeah it's weird I can go slow, I don't think i've ever gone faster, then slower tho. weird. i have a long way to go just started.

theres a suzuki 250 at the shop i can rock slow wheeleis on that but i use the handbrake and its real easy think its time to get one for my bike

I learned break control on a quad and then to slow wheelie on an F4 doing a staggered stand-up with an almost flat rear tire. It was easy. Then each following day I put a few more lbs of pressure in the tire till it was at about 25 lbs. Worked good for me.

...learn in 1st gear...2nd? crazy...never heard of a slow one in 2nd gear.....yea get the FB down first....if you have a HB, try learning the FB first....then get to the HB....it took me a while to get used to it but once you got it on down-pat, it's natural

went from a fiddy to a big bike. took me about 3 sessions till i had idle on lock and started doing no throttle hand stuff

i hate idle riding, i allways use an idle adjuster, partly b/cause i dont have a hb, its just no fun having to use a hb in wheelies b/ci like to pop uover the bp and just let off the gas a bit to get down to the bp.

i learned using the footbrake, then the handbrake... and i use them as little as possible. what does this have to do with my post though?

Learn FB first, then graduate to HB. Crawl before you walk... and as OMR said, learning on a quad or 50 is the best way.

gearing doesn't matter as much as people like to think, it all depens on what rpm ur in.
