what is everyone running for gearing on a 636
I did a search and didnt find what i needed. I have stock gearing and I can only slow it down so much with stock gearing. I know some guys can rock circles with stock gears but im having a hell of a time just slowing it down below like 14 or 15 mph.......I will be riding mostly lots but i will also be riding the streets No major highway stuff...............what are you running and what are your rpms at 55 or 60 mph.
thanks

stock front and +15 on rear...
it's OK for me- pretty good for slow ****, I'm spending a lot of time riding hard in the city, most of the time with friends on a stock bikes, max speed is enough to run from the cops

-2+10 here but i think im putting the stock front back on, or maybe the +4 i got. the bike is to slow i like to more speed for circles the bike keeps falling over and i got to keep giving it gas. was way smoother with less gearing. but more gearing might suite your style you have to find what works for you

-1+10 on the stuntbike
but lately ive only been riding the streeter which is just -1 and still killing everything! it's a great motor. like ed said, you need to find what works for you. start with +10, then try that with a -1... see which you like better. i think most people will tell you somewhere in that range is perfect. if you want more streetability, just go -1 or +5, bike is still very lot capable like that!!!
