Yeah but they come with a side of gravel , blind corners , stupid drivers , or all of the above, so about the only place I'll push it is at the track. :YEAH

$160 for the day at the track, $500 for the leathers, $400 for the helmet, $200 for the boots, and $100 for the gloves. All trashed now, along with $600 worth of parts on the bike, but it was all worth it. Low-side at the track, get up ride back to pit beat parts back in line tape what fell off, break out the spar helmet, and be back on the track with in 2 hours. On the street, at a minimum, at the speed of travel when I low sided, most likely from the looks of the leather, skin graft, and concussion, most likely, with cars or trees around, much worse.

Moral of this story, don’t have one. But, the track is for pushing it to the edge, and that is where I choose to do that, and recommend that others do. The street is not safe for anything above 75% in my opinion, and that is pushing it, with the variables involved. Ask anyone, and they will tell you, I will push it with almost anyone anywhere, so I’m not preaching, just stating my opinion, take it for what it is.

Wasn’t ruffled, and I know others have more experience than I, but I would rather people think about the experience of the track as worth it, rather than a waste. And, as I said, I have pushed it on the street many times, and will probably continue to, however, no one ever accused be of being a fast learner. Cruse Erik can attest to my street stile, and Gixxer671 has seen both street and track, I am just saying that the track is safer.

As far as roads there are not many great roads in Indiana either. Southern Indiana has some, I think it is 137 or something that isn’t too bad, and some short stretches else were. For the most part it’s just roll a direction and see what happens. The road will take you somewhere.

Re: Track Bound August 7 and 8

As soon as my laptop quits being a little biotch, and lets me upload the video and pic I will post some pic form Saturday and Sunday. Some of the pictures were lost due to the camera being testy, but most of them were of my bike in pieces anyway.
