Weekend Update

The weekend update:
-(AJ is OK but) his bike gets totalled out by a guy riding a can-of-tuna with paper plates and no insurance. Now there is going to have to be an auction in his garage b/c everyone wants his bike and rims.

-Chip was sited riding a new 04 750 and also holds the drunk WWF backyard championship title against two 8 yr olds.

-CowBike Mike was MIA; however, he is definately the best welder the greater lafayette area/ Benton county not to mention he has sold so many bikes lately he could open up his own dealership (not a half bad idea).

-Younkin worked all weekend (boooooo) and is still brakeless.

-Was that Chet riding the R1?...lol.

-Everyone else rode around til it got too cold then drank burr until the wee hrs of the morning.

Re: Weekend Update

heres what I was doing all weekend/week :D

dont point out that i've got bolts missing, i've got black anodized hardware coming this week, as well as black GSXR decals made, and maybe some more black detailing.
total work time? over fifty hours went into this, working my normal work day then putting in an additional 6-8 hours into the night, took seven days, from strip to assembly.

Re: Weekend Update

Thats looks good man. I had some work this weekend too. I took Mikes 1 down and 8 up sprockets and threw them on my 97 750. It rocks man. 905 cage comes in tomorrow, so its time to start laying her down. Anybody else that wants to come out tomorrow hit me up!

I might or might not be out tomorrow. Tuesday unfortunately I won't be out at all, gotta drive up to damn near Detroit for a job interview. If it works out though, completely worth it. Who's AudioPhan? Not too many peeps running around with F3's, can't place you. Oh well, see this bike stop by.........laterz

hate to burst your bubble but that's not the last of the problems you'll have with a 905 cage. your oil return line on the left side of the bike, watch that line because the bar of 905 cage hits the banjo and usually breaks it on a lot of bikes spilling out all over your ****.

and ya, for tires, i always run 180/55, they work so much better than 190's becuase they don't flex like the 190's do. try a 180 and you'll love it.

i don't know if you guys have advance auto up there, but they carry EBC brakes. to go ebc's website and get the ebc part number for your bike and they should have them for 5$ a set cheaper than at the dealership for your bike. that's where we get ours. like 20-22$ a set.

oh ya, try the ebc kelvar brakes for the rear, they are soo smooth. i just switched to them and i love them. also, i use stock honda pads up front cause i can't find anything else that i like, but they are 41$ a set for stock pads.
