Re: Lafayette, IN area pics

theres nothing wrong with using your gun to do the primer as long as you have the right tip, and you know what your doing! Im almost done painting mine right now, ill have some pics to post up tonight!!! Its looking pretty right now though!!!

F*&K ABSCO, I am going to deal with Finish Masters on Greenbush for paint and supplies, except for a few items that as of now ABSCO is the only local place to get, unless Finish Masters can get it. Long story, but in a nut shell ABSCO dose not seam to want my business, if they did you would think they could come up with Comp. Orange, without me bringing them the exact freaking formula, no **** that is what they said they needed to give me an estimate on price, because they didn’t know what all was in it. It has to be the most common orange body shops make or at least close. And this was not the first problem I have had with them. Not to mention I can get the same paint, same brand and everything, from finish masters for about 1/3 to ¼ the price. And according to the guy at finish masters the primer that I am using will be fine, as it actually sticks to the plastic, and he doesn’t, see the need to sell me something that is not absolutely necessary. Besides, if it was on good plastic I would be using different paint, and would spend the extra on matching primer and clear coat it. The only reason I am even priming it is to cover the dark spots from where I sanded threw to the original paint when I removed the stickers. And eventually I will have more than one gun to prime, paint, and clear with, but till this winter, ghetto it is. Besides the number plate will be rattle caned on, as well as some other things, that is unless I pick up the air brush and try that way, well see.

Yep! They are about 30 ft radius, but I'm bringing them tighter and tighter. I'm gonna have to bring the rule book on stunting, I needed it last time I was out. Stunters definitely have the right of way when they are rockin stuff, and its a bad idea to pull out in front of them. I almost parked my front tire on a rear seat Sunday after the memorial ride.

Re: Lafayette, IN area pics

Well, if any of you are thinking of doing bike work this winter, give me a call. Spread the word as I will be concentrating on local riders who want more than the stock look. I'm thinkin a little BCC? (Benton County Chopper?) style with polish, chrome, and a little customization. A Miller TIG welder is coming soon, as is some other fancy stuff. I Had a little thought on how to keep up with the blingy city folk while keeping my roots, and here's what I came up with:
