Indianapolis Ride

Re: Indianapolis Ride
that's all gravy until you need to learn stalls off of things like tailgates and light poles....or you get them going fast and need to save a highside.
i just learned covering it now so i didn't have to worry about it later and re-learn junk.
and i don't need to pray about those 4th gear coasters, those are gravy. i need to start doing my SS's that fast. i bet with a night of practice i could have them from stoplight to stoplight on fruitridge.

Re: Indianapolis Ride
the man is right. bacitracin zinc works perfect (neosporin is the same thing). keep it from getting dry and it'll heal faster and won't get all bloody adn crack and get nasty.

Re: Indianapolis Ride
yeah your right, i just cant grasp the concept.... been trying to clutch it up to a stall, but i either use too much brake, and gorilla scrape lol

Re: Indianapolis Ride
i never have problems clutching to a stall...i just snap the gas really hard and once it rockets up i grab the clutch so it's freewheeling. so basically i just dump the clutch fast then grab it fast again and it's upright and balanced.
it took me a little while to get used to always being finger brake and clutch...but i figured it would be harder later if i learned with 1 finger on the brake and no clutch. then i would have to re-learn each finger. now it's hard for me to even try to use my index finger on the hb.

Oh yeah. Road rash is an old acquaintance of mine.. haha.. I'm definitely not going to let all this scar up.. way too much for me. I'm just already for it to be over with.
I'm supposed to go out Friday with my girls family(which I've NEVER met!) and haha I'm going to have to show up with all this rash.. Good times!

Re: Indianapolis Ride
that show is sept. 29th. i dont think that lot in the back is going to work though! we need to see if we could use that lot across the street from them. i went and practiced last night at north. i suck in shoes! i guess because i have always worn boots. it took awhile to get my brake control back. i want to get some new shoes, but i dont want them to be wimpy. i need something in a shoe that my feet wont move around in. ( i know borne, STASSISHOES ) im going to chk them out today...

Re: Indianapolis Ride
eh, my adidas don't seem to move around. after wearing those blue things i love those shell toes. they are pretty inexpensive too. that or any running shoe you can tighten down. those new balances i had worked good too.
if you want to protect your ankles then you can get ankle braces from honda to wear. they have them in stock and i think they can even order some beefy ones with guards on the outside of your ankles.
oh ya, flat botom shoes are the best too....makes moving around easier since there are no dips in the bottom.
and that lot across the street would be perfect if someone cleaned it off.
