Wtf

Re: Wtf
new news on the coasters. i came home to my spot that is measured out. i'm falling just short of my 800 foot mark in a SS coaster. it's bad weather here tonight so hopefully tomorrow i'll get some video of it nad post it. it's so awsome.
oh ya, about frontline freestyle....steve just sent me a myspace message which kinda pissed me off a little:
"it takes brake control for the coasters u r doing dont get me wrong, but you need to ditch those coasters and start busting some no handed sitdown coasters with ur idle cranked up for the fact that it really doesnt look cool (to me at least) all haterism aside, stay up on those circles and practice combos like you said. and to be the best you have to revolutionize the game and do **** no one else has ever done, thats when you get respect, i've got some **** i wanna practice no one has done before, and a couple "top secret" team stunts that are just off the wall, bust it and take glory or go to the hospital type ****, na mean??? keep it pimpin and keep it fresh "
i sent him back a message asking what the hell he thinks a sitdown no handed coaster is if he's turning his idle up. i'm thinking he's tlaking about just a regular no handed sitdown thinking that if he lets go that is a coaster. i'm not sure about anyone else, but when i'm busting out 1200 foot coasters nad 800 foot SS coasters, i don't think that it "doesn't look cool". another newbie thinking that circles are the godsend to the stuntworld and there isn't anything else to do.

Re: Wtf
ya, i know. there are tons more tricks than o's. i'm trying to learn them all so i can combo them, because that opens a huge bag of tricks....but just to do a basic circle is actually pretty boring and not that crazy of a stunt.

Re: Wtf
ok, here is his reply when i asked him what he thought a sitdown no handed coaster was:
"allright man, a no handed sitdown coaster is a first (or second) gear sitdown wheelie with the idle turned up (and big sprocket) to 4k or so, no hands, and all brake and body control keeping the bike up for as long as possible, thats a no handed real coaster, b/c you cant touch the throttle, and its the hardest trick next to the highchair circle. coasters like you are doing just require speed and keeping it just past bp rollin, maybe ive just never got into em. why are they called ss coasters anyway??? im really not player hatin b/c i cant do them anyway i just think you are a good ****** rider and you need to start switchin up your game with somethin fresh, na mean?"
he thinks that a 1st or 2nd gear sitdown with the idle cranked up and no handed is a coaster....WRONG.

Re: Wtf
haha, ya, switch up my game. funny for him to say that to me of all people. i find myself a well rounded rider. i can do circles, combos, highway ****, long ****, coasters, burnouts, i'm lacking in stoppies but i can bust out a few short distance ones (hard to on bent forks)....but apparently i'm needing to change up my game.
seriously, i don't care how good of a rider i am or if he thinks i suck, the point here is he obviously doesn't know wtf a coaster is....he thinks that i'm just doinga high speed wheelie past hte balance point. it also seems that he is thinking a NO THROTTLE HAND is what a coaster is since you "can't touch the throttle". wow, newbies these days are idiots. talking **** on something that they don't even know about.

Re: Wtf
Yo, Binder. If your gonna try them in seat stander coaster, as in turning the bike off. When Gary was down here he was turning kthe idle all the way down where it wants to die and as soon as he pulled the clutch in it shuts off, sick *** trick for sure. But what can you expect outta Gary. Good luck bro.
And post some myspace up of this guy or aim deal so we can **** with him. Hes a dumb ***.

Re: Wtf
if you turn it all the way down, it should die........ well, mine does and it's a fixer, so who knows..... got my fork seals replaced for the 2nd time in a week!!!!!!
we should invite this guy down to come show us some of his coasters...... ..... I'm tired of learning stuff from brandon and eric, they need to step/change up their game.... .
For those who give two *****. i'll be posting up pics and short vid's of the tandem **** we've been working on, on our site before wednesday......

Re: Wtf
they are from indy! we should definately invite them to ride.
starks: that sounds sweet but i'm lazy, i'll probably just use the kill switch to stop mine.
and, after i explained to him that you are pulling in the clutch and coasting he says "what's the point of doing it then? you just do a wheelie and pull in teh clutch, so you are basically just using the brake to balance..."
umm...so basically, what the **** is the point of any of our tricks then cause obviously a coaster is simple....along with a circle, you just clutch it up, rock it on idle and lean, simple ****, so why even do it? a stoppie is even easier, all you have to do is grab front brake, that's like 1 step and you can do a stoppie.

Re: Wtf
True, but there is a diff between being a newb vs someone trying to act like they know what the hell is going on (which in my book ='s POSER) , especially someone like that to give binder advice on coasters ...... just plain retarded....
oh... btw, e-brake started SS coasters tonight for real, busting out way over 100 ft easy, not bad for first attempts......got on tape, but going to bed now, so i'll try to post up tomorrow..... and brandon started working on HC 0's, none successful, but he's got them slow as **** and can 180.... nothing new on my part, got smoked out and couldn't ride without losing concentration....

Re: Wtf
sweet, i was trying to get eric to do them when i was there but he wouldn't. i love the SS coasters. i'm trying for quad digits (1000+) on them.
my circles are still coming. i've gotten a couple standups where i can work them, but for the most part i get past 1-1.5 and have issues. i can't seem to find the right body position to keep it going.
and ya, i'll say something to steve about coming out. i have nothing against someone trying to learn, but he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about and he's acting like i don't know what a coaster is...umm....only been doing this for 5 years now, i think i know more about what each stunt is than him. oh ya, and if you check that new pic of him doing a sitdown on myspace, i think he actually crashed on that one. his left leg isn't on either of the pegs, it's like, stepping down off the bike or something. HAHA
