good **** on the 0's vetter............ my riding is still in recession, so i'm gonna take a break for a few days, for some reason, i am more consistant with ss 0's than FIB 0's, which is odd in my eyes...........

SS 0's are coming along good. how are you coming on them paul? i counter steer when i come into them and can get one full one around 2/5 of the time. i try and put my body weight "outside" the circle and keep my weight on the inside foot at all times. working good i just gotta get used to it i think. i think i start to high side cause i lean into the circle.
are u looking in the direction u want to go...it helps me if i do that.
usualy when i highside its because i shift my weight to my outside foot.

i would try 3500 or so...i come in on idle and let that carry me around and then blip the throttle as needed.

when i 1st learned merk steps i would just scrape a seat stander and then jump off the back and use my HB to get it off the bar...after u get used to that, u should be able to just get the tail close and jump off. maybe turn your idle down to about 3000 or less...you'll have to play w/ the idle to see what u like the best though.

i can do them no problem... from sitdown or fron SS (no idle so i have more EB and everything).... just getting back on my HB sucks, and most the time i end up back on the bar (the HB wont get me off the bar)

ya, i use my clutch to get them off the bar....just feather the clutch a little as you are working the brake and they come down easily.

key for me was learning to clutch on index finger and brake with middle finger, at the same time. if you can get that down it makes **** 10x easier.

then put your damned hb on bottom like all of us that are rocking 2 finger setups. make life easier, not more difficult.

only problems i have is relaxing my middle finger when i pull the clutch in on SS coasters....sometimes i start adding pressure to the hb without noticing it so the rear brake is dragging.

ya, i know to pull the clutch in, but it won't do you any good if it's a violent highside. once the front end is tipping out and going you are screwed clutch or no clutch. now when it just gets high and a little off balance, ya, easy save with a little bitch of clutch work.
