dude im tellin you, when i jump off and try to get it to stop and just hang there so i can jump to something (ie frog or whatev) it just dies.



someone told me they used to adjust the floats on the old 900rrs...im gonna look into that this winter. i dont have enough $$ to get rid of my bike and get a clean titled FI bike...especially with me finishing school this year.

yeah they mess with floats and make sure carbs are all in sink. Some 900rr run strong and other like to spit and sputter

 

well thats probably it. plus i know the plugs are fouled. havent changed them all year and its flooded out countless times. my bike def spits and sputters.

Yeah, there are some adjustments you can make, and ya, some RR's are raped apes and some just monkey around. Seems like my old '97 gixxer (last carb 750) ran awesome, and then just kept getting slower and slower.... or 1. I ran the crap out of it at one point. or 2. I was switching back between it and my '01 1k, lol. Floats, needles, vacuum, shims, etc. Grab a book, it's gonna be a long winter......

u need to move down south so you can stunt all winter...somewhere like terre haute! haha

i stunt year round. winter times i just do the parking lot though. all my slow stuff was learned the winter of my first year stunting. hey, if you do make it down here before i get rid of the gixxer i'll let you try it out and see if you like it.

binder: yeah man...i still plan on doing lot stuff this winter but im gonna have to put alot of my riding time on hold. i think im gonna do 18hrs and work PT this january...then do 6 over the summer which is also fulltime. then ill just have to get 9hrs in the fall of 07 and graduate.

then its on. im outta indiana!

 

I going to ride all winter no matter how cold. I take bike it in truck to the lot and I got portable propane heater to warm up every 10 minutes or so. not to mention I will ride my 50 all winter like I did last year to keep my skillz sharp for next season

no i am switching to street fighter for winter. turned bars way out and love it. just trying to step up game and keep nose plastic nice for now.

 

streetfighter is the only way. i used to rock some sick **** on my FF 929, but now that i've went to streetfighter i realized i was only holding myself down.
