I hear you on that one, wasn’t really a vacation, but I had a similar problem this weekend myself, scratch one set Mud tires for my truck $600 on the way to Wisconsin, and for a bit of icing on the cake scratch one transfer case for my truck $1890, on the way home, just in to Illinois from Wisconsin. However, my Chevy kept on trucking, saving the tow bill, I figure a little over 300miles, not sure as the speedometer sensor was destroyed with the case, with from the sounds of it from Curtis, nothing left of the transfer case.

I quit taking whole weeks off of work because they cost too much money, usually in repairs, now I guess three day weekends are going to have to go next.

Oh and now.......... How about "hmmm, I'll just ride the z to work...., it's really not that far and the county officers won't care....." Well, state troopers do Trp. S. Keegan, lol, coincidently, lol, stopped me and held me in the rain-which I was trying to stay ahead of-and then in the pouring rain...... to give me a 'failure to register' summons..... and what do you think my court date is....?! That's right folks, gonna have to hang around here after gettin hitched so I can go see the prosecutor..... :YEAH Shawn, I'm gonna borrow your wall for a second Maybe I can get the transmission folks to pay for my visit with the nice trooper??? Oh well, I'm gonna dig Jodi's bike out and ride it for a bit. Maybe he would rather have a registered vehicle in a wheelie?

Re: Legends of Lafayette.....

Honest, it wasn't me; I had nothing to do with it. I was probably being drowned in the rain myself on the bike when it happened.

But seriously, contact the prosecutor’s office, they may allow you to work a deal early, that's what I did on my last infraction in Tippy. Co.

Either way, good luck with everything.

Maybe you could talk them in to letting you bring home the floater to drive back and forth; I bet the officer would enjoy that.

Re: Legends of Lafayette.....

Damn Mike, that sucks. Speaking of the topic of the over-all thread, decided to drop the "Cruiser" tag......that thing is way to far in the past now. Future pics to come though, I was replaceing my rear tire when I noticed my sprockets.......6 teeth missing on the rear, 2 on the front
