Question how would i know if my forks/tripples are bent?

i just finished tearing the front end off of my bike(F3) and i sat on it but the tire is way off from the way the bars are pointed. I got the front end off of the ground but ill need some one else to help tighten the tripples as i twist them back into position, so i guess what i need to know is how would i know if they are bent

PS the bike was recently in a crash

the lower triple clamp is probably bent, or twisted, i recently replaced my forks and triple 'cause of the same thing - fixed the prob.

If you loosen the top triple, and it doesn't come off relatively easy, that's a good sign that it's bent. Should come off and go back on pretty easy. If you have to jockey it around and hammer on it, then it's bent man.
