F3 baby i doubt you can do everything on it, but it's great for playing around/ learning...steel frame, and takes a beating...stunters began all this with Carbuerated bikes.....but Fi took over

Im still on my F3.......you can do just about everything on it with maybe the exception of bar tricks. I love it. You dont need fuel injection to kill it.

i need to put my MX bars on...think i should? BTW....these bikes stoppie with ease to be heavy....guess it's the short wheelbase??? heavy on the wheelie side, but once you can rock a heavy carbed bike and get on a Fi youll kill it even better

Im thinking about going with more gear in the back. I have a stock front, -1 front, stock rear, and +3 rear. all steel and all 530 pitch. but definatly post what kinda gearing your looking for.

looks pimp, you should look into some longer throttle cables. and you should try and route the wires up different. I tucked all mine along the inside of the frame on my 9. Might not work on the F3. Looks pimp, I would roll that!

Re: F2/F3 tips, tricks, information...and other stuff.

the throttle cables are tight, but it doesn't pull when i turn the bars, so it's fine for me..all i do with it is lot riding :YEAH
i just put on those grips....they absorb a lil of the impact...my wrists are weak

nah..think ill keep them...looks don't mean anything to me Bro!
i got all my wires pulled back there so i can get to my fuse box still..they are taped to the stock harness, so it's cleaner from the side view than it is from the top

Re: F2/F3 tips, tricks, information...and other stuff.

when i wrecked my bike i broke my right rear set so i made acuston one out of some thick sheet metal and put dirtbike handle bars on it and rerouted all the wires so all the stock cables work some ppl say u need to buy cables from other bikes but they r full of ****. i made my own cage and my own 12 bar. the cxage and 12 companys rip u off so bad they want like 400 for cage and12 i made both of mine for 35 bucks and i think they will be stronger

doubtfully stronger...as i have come to find out on my own....good cage makers do research, and place the supports, and connect them together in certain spots for maximum support....im sure it will work out good for ya though, and get your money's worth out of it definately for like $275 you can get a cage/12 bar from www.sickinnovations.com Ian knows his ****!

Re: F2/F3 tips, tricks, information...and other stuff.

so far the cage held up really good. i wrecked it really hard a few times and it held up real good. my buddy has a 905 and he wrecked his a few times and itmoved a lil bit and we have a hell of a time gettin the bolts out of it. the one i made was almost areplica of a 905 butmodified for a f2 and it has and extra support on each side compared to some of the cages ive seen for them. all i know is i dont want a piece of **** FI cage bcmy buddy wrecked his once and snapped the subframe right at where it connect to the frame. i just think it puts too much pressure on weak parts. im not sure if the 12 bar will be better or not i used heavier material than a FI 12 bar and it is set up perfect it took me a while to make it but i didnt want it to be off
