Clutch reassembly

Any one know how to put a clutch back together on a GSXR 1000???

Specifically the washers and spacers on the main hub. Didn't take pics of it when I tore it apart almost three months ago.

its hard to explain, but I'll try... The order is: outer basket, large flat washer, inner hub, flat washer, convex washer (dished part in toward hub), inner hub nut. Make sure you peen one of the flats on the nut so it doesn't come loose. After the nut/washers are on, put in the clutch pushrod if you took it out (about 6 inches long. square ends), the clutch plate lifter (rod with a flange on it), the flat needle bearing, and the flat washer. Next is the pressure plate, and then you're ridin'.

Re: Clutch reassembly

I'm happy to help out. I guess some of the useless information I have comes in handy once in awhile.
