Like the title says: My GF and I are planning to move down to Albuqerque early next year!!! I'm excited as ***.

I actually got the idea after watching BREATHE by OM and seeing the awesome scenery and imagining what it would be like to live out there. Then we realized that the company she works for has a store down there, and it's cheaper to live there. I'm so sick of these Wisconsin winters, especially after getting a bike.

Anywhoo, I'm a Chrysler mechanic so I can find work wherever, I just need to know how it is in NM, any places to ride, neighborhoods to avoid, a decent tech school to go to, good places to live and good people to ride with, stuff like that. Hook a brother up!

Any and all advice would be most welcome, and I hope to meet you guys soon, in spring of 05!!!

well we have bikes and we like to party, well some of use like to party. anyways that side of town is good. but you can pretty much get any where in town from one side to the other in less then 20 min.

Word, its always nice to see new faces around here. you'll probably love it here coming from Wisconsin, i've been riding two years with no car and yesterday was the first day i've ever had to tackle the snow. It does get cold (for the desert) but i'm sure it will be warm to you guys. Scenery is pretty good, we dont have tree's though its fun to carve the mountain if you're into that stuff, only takes like ten minutes to get there too :YEAH as far as i know we dont have any decent tech schools though, not sure i say go for it, it will be nice and warm by the time you get here. Rob's right, you can get anywhere in less than 20 min. do it!

Thanks for all the info guys!!! I'm very VERY excited to go down there. Milwaukee is bullshit. Cold as hell in the winter and reallllly humid in the summer. I can't wait till I can sell my car and just ride my bike everywhere! :YEAH
