I recently purchased the F4i motor from Nick4ne. First off the thread states the motor has 8k miles, while in the process of driving to Omaha (4 hour drive) he tells me that the motor I am coming after has 12k miles. His reason being that he sold the 8k mile motor and just so happen to have a 12k one laying around. Bullshit. He also stated that the motor ran just fine before it was taken out if a no title F4i. No mechanical issues whatsoever. So we pick up the motor exchange for cash. (my first mistake) and trusted him that the motor is just as good as he says it is. (second mistake). Upon picking up the motor the stator cover was all busted up with no bolts in it which I was never told about before making the trip. After installing the motor into my F4i and go to start it, we come to find out that the motor is completely locked up. After trying to get a hold of Nick for a week and receiving no responses we pull the motor in a last ditch effort to un-sieze it or repair it. Now just 10 minutes ago we pop the oil pan off and find a large amount of copper and steel metal pieces all over. I also realized that the bolt holding the stator magnet on was loose which made me think that the seller already tried to turn the motor over but sold it locked up anyways. This seller is a fraud and will sell you broken parts and will not come clean about them. I highly doubt i will receive a refund but I just wanted to bring this to the members of stunt life's attention and the moderators as well. Thanks
