went to lowes for welding wire. the thickest solid core they had was .030, they only had .035 in flux core :/

looks like i gotta wait til monday for the real tool store to be open

Tech
  • The CBR 600RR , Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
  • The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
  • THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
  • The zx6 models are slightly wider than stock to keep your leg from being pressed against the tail
  • other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.
  • omr subcages are available for all makes and models but only the ones listed above are available for shipping

I practiced welding sheetmetal all day yesterday, i got that hang of it now. If I wanna weld sheet metal to some thicker steel, say 3/16, do I set the welder up for one or the other, or half way in between?

what i like to do in that situation is run the welder hot enough to penetrate the thicker steel and then just kind of bleed the beed over the thinner steel ..

basically you are gonna direct most of the heat to the thicker steel so you dont just melt the thinner steel , know what i mean ?

ok i gotta get some sleep , i went up to the hardrock hotel in orlando last night with plans on going to islands of adventure this morning with my girl and my cousin but my cousin was mixing aderol and patron all night so we never really got any sleep and never made it to the park ...lol
