In know their are some gun nuts in here, but does any body else dig long range shooting or is it just me. The reason I ask is bc I'm looking at getting a new rifle and wanted to see if anyone had input on the lapua .338

Just handguns for me. I used to love guns and then after I got shot I jumped every time I heard gun fire. It would make my skin crawl if I was in the movie theater watching an action movie with gun shots. Then a good buddy of mine picked me up and surprised me by taking me to an indoor shooting range. I got over it real quick because of that. It was really cool of him to help me out.

Yea, getn shot/shot at is never an easy thing. I grab for my weapon everytime I hear shots, just a reaction. There's times I grab for it when nothing is there, just a muscle memory I guess

• The CBR 600RR , Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
• The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
• THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
• The zx6 models are slightly wider than stock to keep your leg from being pressed against the tail
• other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.

Getting shot blows. It's not like on tv or the movies. I got really f'd up. Lots of surgery to fix me. They guy that shot me thought the gun was not loaded so he pointed it at me and pulled the trigger. I thought I was going to die.

Yep, accident. It was my best friend that shot me. He's honestly a basket case now. He's on like 4 different psycho therapy meds and still goes to regular counseling and it happened in 2002. He hasn't forgiven himself. He was always bad with guns, never treated them properly.

...and thanks I'm glad I made it too. I'm very lucky.
