Yeah, I don't think learning to play left handed would be all that easy. Plus, I already own 6 right handed guitars.

You'd need to replace the nut and then hope none of the controls or trem bars got in the way.

couldn't you flip the nut upside down too? don't have to worry about a trem bar on an acoustic

You can't swap a nut, they are directional. I wouldn't just swap one guitar.

you mean flip a nut? the nut sits in a slot so if a left handed guitar has a specific nut, it should fit on a right handed guitar. you'd just need to replace it. they aren't expensive, like 10-20 bucks, probably.

Yeah, flip a nut. I've replaced a nut before. I'm not spending 10-20 bucks to make my guitars unplayable. Plus the ergonomics would be off. Your cutaways would be on the wrong side, etc. Of course it's possible. Jimmy Hendrix did it.

the pickups wouldn't have to be flipped or anything, right? they work the same throughout?

Take it to somebody. The cost of tools to do it correctly would be much more than a single fret replacement by a luthier.

A single fret can't cost much more than $25 or so. I bet it's less than that.
