before niner replied i actually did a little science experiment ..lol

i poked a hole in a dry piece of bread with a straw and then soaked the bread to get it to swell , the hole in the bread did in fact expand ...lol

Tech
  • The CBR 600RR , Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
  • The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
  • THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
  • The zx6 models are slightly wider than stock to keep your leg from being pressed against the tail
  • other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.
  • omr subcages are available for all makes and models but only the ones listed above are available for shipping

i asked my mechanic friend the question about the hole. he believes the hole will expand also, but he says to final torque the bolts when its cold, after a few heat cycles. he says that even tho the hole will be wider when its hot, the outer flange of the pump will expand much more, making the bolts tighter from tension rather than diametrical friction. i think thats the right word, if not u can figure out what i mean lol

I gotta buy another angle grinder to leave the cutting wheel on. I figure i use the grinding wheel 10x as much as the cutting wheel so a cheap pos will be fine for that
