• The CBR 600RR , Yamaha R6 ,03 04 gsxr 1000 and the f4i pegs are lowered and moved back and out for better peg position! !
• The 01-03 GSXR 600 and 750 have the pegs moved out two inches because of the big tail section
• THE 07 600RR pegs are located 2-1/2 inches lower and 3 inches wider (Than stock)
• The zx6 models are slightly wider than stock to keep your leg from being pressed against the tail
• other omr subframe cage models are in the stock location except they are rotated on their axis so they don't fold up unless you fold them up, this also puts your foot on the grippy part of the peg during a wheelie.

yeah but that's obvious because steel is prone to corrosion. when ro'jer said "two metals" it triggered my curiosity to find out why and which particular metal combinations are prone to corrosion

cab ride home would cost more than another water pump. i was really ******* relieved to see those bolts loose

it was one of those thin metal gaskets and i lightly dressed both sides of it. good idea about retorquing after heat cycling, im gonna do that this time.

my thinking is that the aluminum block will expand earlier than the bolt willl, which will make it come loose for sure. i was planning to use blue, not red. does that damage threads?

no thats a fact for sure. go look at something old and aluminum thats been touching steel for a while. an aluminum boat would be a perfect example

aluminum and anything else pretty much. i know even stainless bolts in aluminum will do it, white powdery **** just like the old guy said

i dont like to use locktite an any thing aluminum , and yes they do expand and contract at different rates thats why you should never pull a spark plug out of a hot aluminum motor but if you think about it the hole is biggest when the block is cold it will tighten up on the bolt when the motor heats up ..
