I am 93.7% certain this damper will fit an f4i with 929 front end. Pictured is the damper mounted on my f4i with an R1 front end utilizing a 929 upper triple.

Found out if you run an aftermarket clip-on on top with a thick base (vortex for example), it will hit the damper a good ways before steering lock. This is the case with any fork set up, stock, 929, and R1.
