Carbon Fiber - whatcha need?
well not sure what to say other than im makin carbon fiber parts so if you need anything hit me up and we can see what can be done....if i dont already have a mold for that part...if you can bring 1 other person with you that wants the same part, ill do this nice discount, if you let me keep the stock part (so i dont have to buy it to create a mold), then ill sell the first part for cost of materials only "which is actually pretty damn cheap esp if you want a carbonfiber/fiberglass mixed part...sometimes that can even cut the price in half..and since i use black fiberglass cloth..you cant even tell the difference 1 bit....the 2nd part ill sell for full price..which i might add will also be cheaper by usually 30% of what other ripoff jackass places charge for parts....its insane how much they charge and they dont even sell full carbon fiber parts...its always a mix of fiberglass somewhere
hit me up and lets do some business!!! maybe i can make enough cash to throw a banner up on this site so i can mention my website publicly ;P

Re: Carbon Fiber - whatcha need?
hahaha.. why would it break down? Carbon fibers stronger than the stock plastics right.. Or is it more brittle and will crack around the upper screw thats just below the passanger seat? I keep my bike extremely clean and think that carbonfiber would be so sick on it!

Re: Carbon Fiber - whatcha need?
oh no its way stronger...it would just scuff the epoxy coat, same as the clear coat on a regular tail.....and i wouldnt make it out of carbon fiber entirely, top layer carbon, under that kevlar....i understand it will be flexing alot...
carbon fiber = strong but will crack under certain stress
kevlar = weak but wont crack under stress as easy

yep id need the targa, you can pick one up on ebay fairly cheap im sure...better condition = less time ill have to spend fixing it... and here is the deal ill make you
$150 if you want the targa seal cowl returned, $50 if you let us keep the band new targa cowl
and the DB windscreen we can beat that price if you dont want it solid carbon fiber....most companies do 1-2 layers of carbon fiber then they do the rest in fiberglass....and where we stand apart...we have sexy sexy black fiberglass where it wont be white and you cant see it ;P we let everyone know the layers in order of our parts, aint no cheapin people out here like carbon works and other companies....hell you can even have pictures of the process if you want
