Up for sale is an aftermarket sprocket for any 01-up GSXR with a 525 pitch chain. I had this briefly installed on my 03 GSXR600 before doing a 520 chain and sprocket conversion. It is lighter than the factory sprocket so it decreases the rotational mass and it obviously adjusts the gearing. It is a 46 tooth sprocket which I believe is +1 on a 600 and +3/+4 on a 750 and 1000. It definitely made a difference on my GSXR600 and it allowed it to accelerate faster and wheelie easier. I paid $90 for this sprocket and it is in excellent condition. This will work with your stock 525 chain if you have a GSXR 600! I did not have to modify my stock chain at all. I am not sure about what is required to run this on a 750/1000, but I do know that their stock chain is a 530 pitch so at least a new chain and front sprocket would be required.
