I don't really know man, really and truly I am starting to wonder whether it is actually a 750 or not. Is there any thing that distinguishes the two?

At the back bottom of the blocks, there are a engine code.
The 600cc motors would start off with N7 (N=500-599cc/ 7= four stroke)
The 750cc motors would start off with R7 (R=700-749cc/ " ")

Valve cover may be messed up and the front mounts have been welded. Mileage=14,000 the speedo has been fast for the past 7,000 though.

Re: Parting my 01 gsxr600 with 750 motor swap

I know This doesn't have anything to do with buying anything but i am curious on how easy or hard it was to mount the motor up in the 600 frame. I know new mounts have to be made and all. I'm just look ing for any assistance. I have an 01 750 motor i am trying to put into an 01 600 frame. I would appreciate anything. Thanks.

The best way to do it is to buy the brackets, wish I could tell you the company name that sells the brackets but it's just the front two holes that don't line up.
