i have a 2007/2008 crf-88 (started as a crf-50) really nice bike ! tons of mods, after market frame nothing on the bike is stock!!! 1500 obo, your nephews would love this bike, its an easy learning bike but then they wouldnt have to put a bunch of money into it also when they learn how to ride it!!! let me know

 

Yep, all that chinese side of the road sold bikes will end up falling apart and putting their life in danger. What if they are on the trail and the brakes cut out or the steering come apart....

 

I never had any problems with my chondra, just make sure the bolts are tight and thread locked and your good. I bought a Demon 110cc off ebay and it had gas shocks that worked great disc brakes that worked great and would kill any Honda out there for $975 shipped to my door.

 

I'd run my honda against it everyday, even after abusing my honda for 3 years.

How long have you had it? Went off roading at all? Has the shock and forks blown out yet?

 

Nope for all and I had it for close to a year and rode every day almost at the bmx jumps for about 8 months. It ran about 65 mph and will kill a Honda even with 88 kit or whatever for alot less money. I put a FOX shock on it and filled the forks with streetbike fork oil and they worked like a dream. Toatal I had about a $1100.00 in it and would kill a Honda.

my 88 SMOKES all other honda 88's I've raced. Thats everything from local, to omaha, to kansas city.

not to mention, if I wanted, I could drain my oil, ride it tell it siezes, let it cool, let it sieze again, add some oil, and ride away..

I know TWO people who have done that over a year ago, and there honda still runs to this day!

Because it was cheaper and faster abd I try to stay off the bandwagon thats why I ride a 636. LOL

Hondas are better I'm just saying for the money and for a little kid the chondras aren't bad if you do a few things to them. How much money would or do you have sunk into the crf if you bought it brand new $1200.00 right out the door.
