That's too much $$ for a salvaged bike IMO.

I only want Clean or Rebuilt titles

 

rebuilt is the same as salvage it just needs inspected an the 636 can pass inspection the way it sits just need a taillight an guages

 

A salvage title is not the same as a rebuilt. After the salvage inspection it will become rebuilt yes. the whole point in wanting a rebuilt title is to avoid the salvage inspection bullshit. A bike on a salvage title is worth significantly less than a rebuilt title.

Your bike would need to be put back to 100% stock condition to pass Pa's salavge inspection. It would take more work and money than its worth to put that bike back on the streets legally.

 

Yeah salvage is definately not the same as rebuilt.

Not in ohio ... i can get it as rebuilt the way it sits my buddy had the same bike his was an 06 he told me all i need is guages an a taillight an his passed even with a dented tank

 

If I lived in ohio that would be great but I don't so it doesn't help me. You should get it inspected and rebuilt, you may get what your asking after that.

 

I am in NJ with a USED to be mint '03 636. My son flipped it backwards in a low speed wheelie and I have fixed eveything except the tail cowling. The bike had a cage on it so it was only cosmetic damage and not much except for the tail fairing. The bike only has 3700 original miles and a clean title in hand. It has a brand new sick cage and hohey rear sets. I am going to list it soon for $4000.
