05 Kawi 636 For Sale or Trade
I have an 05 636 with 5000 miles on it. The bike has a salvage title because it was laid over. It has since been repaired. It just needs a front fender and needs to be inspected. It has a hotbodies undertail exhaust, flushmount turn signals, and chameleon paint with bronze bottoms. I want $3000 or I will consider trades. Let me know what you have. You can send emails to dar5052@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Anyone in PA is gonna have to spend $500+ to get that title rebuilt and the bike legally on the road. Salvage/rebuild process is a pain in the dick in PA, I stopped ****** with salvage titles since new laws last yr.

Re: 05 Kawi 636 For Sale or Trade
my friend registered his bike not long ago and he didnt have any trouble with his. i know he paid about 200 for inspection and just tax on the price he bought the bike for.
In my opinion, people blow SALVAGE title out of proportion. I have seen bikes at the auction with just scratches on them but yet they have a salvage title. Then when you go to sell it people get all bent out of shape about it. If the bike is restored back to original and the bike rides straight, Whats wrong with a salvage title bike? I dont know but thats my view on it... I know there are people that fix bikes like **** but that is why you should check the bike out and ride it before buying it. So lets not bash all salvage title bikes but let each make his own decision when buying it. Let me know what you guys think.....

You couldn't buy that bike in that shape from the salvage auction for under $2000, so its not a terrible deal.

Now there's only certain "certified" inspection centers you can go to, the bike has to be 100% stock, you have to get the inspection center to fill out your paperwork, then you gotta have a notary do some more paperwork and send it in for you. You can only rebuilt 6 salvage titled bikes without a dealers license now. That sucked for me
