02 F4i project - GREAT deal!
'02 CBR F4i
Has been used as a stunt bike by the previous owner and it shows. Starts on first try every time and runs strong. Clean WI title. Mileage is not known because the original odometer is broken.
Problems:
It goes into all gears and shifts fine. Although, when you give hard throttle in third gear it pops out and into 2nd. I was told that it was the shift forks and drum that was causing this so I ordered new ones and replaced. Problem is still there.
Also, after changing the drum and forks, when driving I get antifreeze dripping on my boots. It seems to be coming off the right side hose. I haven't looked into this but could be as simple as a loose hose.
As it sits now with its problems:
$1500 FIRM
My wife has been on me to sell some of my toys so the first ones that I sell will keep her happy and I can keep the rest. So, if I dont sell this, it will be my winter project.

The person who originally owned the bike was killed. No, not on the bike. After a year or two of the bike sitting in the garage, his widow decided to get rid of it. She had a hard time finding some of the things for the bike, so I assume the keys may have been lost in the confusion.
