its has 20k miles but really alot less then that because of the large vortex sprockets on it. and i have the 905 racing cage on it. anyone want it?

i know ive been crazy busy and need to get the pictures up. but you all know what an R6 looks like if anyone wanted to buy it they can come on over and take a look at it though..but i will get pictures posted. Just seemed odd that the first response i got was from some kid goofing around.

Heres the pictures...put a new stator generator in it. Still needs a new battery though. The stator being bad killed the battery. But bike runs perfectly now with the new stator. anyone interested?

about 2 weeks bought it for an investment. someone didnt want to take the time to just take it apart and test the stator. My roomate bought it and i put the wrench time into it after ordering the new rectifier and stator. it ended up not needing the rectifier just a new stator generator and rotor. I ordered a new battery but they said it wont be in for a week because its a gel battery and they dont stock it.

i ran my ohm tester and it and found that the generator wasnt putting out much power at all. i didnt know if it was just the generator or the rotor too so i just bought both. was only 178 for both parts. retested it and it generates the power the repair manual listed. i have the current battery on the charger to see if it will take a charge but with the gell batterys after they are ran that dead it doesnt usually work. so the new one will be needed.

one last thing. the cage is off the bike right now it was a pain to take off. and i wasnt sure if the new owner would want it back on. whoever is interested i will remount if you want. otherwise you can have it off the bike. I have all the reciepts for the new parts bought and installed.

and i know he has other pictures of the bike i just have to have him post them. Im not the computer savy one like him.

I believe he bought it from your town.. you missed out the guy sold it cheap because he didnt want to find out what was wrong i guess. It didnt take me much time at all. But i work at a mechanic shop so i do this all day so it was nothing for me

yea i thought the picture look familiar its was my buddies brothers bike. yea i was gonna buy it but i was short on money at the time. 2 days after you came and got it i was gonna get it and he said it was gone. lol oh well....
