When I get my stunt bike, thats where Im going. His cages (for a 929 at least) hold up great. I am not going to bash other makes, because this all comes down to what you want. Some people dont want the bar on the bottom. Some do. Whatever you like, there is no need to bash anyone. Unless they caused a major problem like charging you and never sending your product, and not making the situation right. I am sure all the cages have weak points, but that would take alot more R&D to overcome. And that means more $$$. I have seen most cages take hard hits and not break, and I have seen the same cages take soft hits and come apart. Anything welded has a good chance of having a flaw and most people in this buisness dont have the $$$ for expencive equipment that can X-ray every weld. Untill then, there will be flaws in some. Just my .02.

I wrapped my entie bike with Bubble wrap. Problem solved... except for sometimes in traffic I get bored and I start popping the bubbles. That sh-t's addictive dude!

Since he is out of it with a knee injury, I would bet that he got bored enough to do that.

You gotta use the wrap with the huge bubbles... or it'll do no good. You canget it at any packaging store.

You ever see those big blow up sumo wrestling costumes that some people will fight in for ***** and giggles? I'm gonna get one of those to stunt in.... so I don't get hurt anymore.

We have tried several cages. Even some homemade ones with double delron sliders, triple relieve springs etc.

Best Cage on my opinion...

FREESTYLE INGENUITY

Is the best so far in the market. User Friendly. Very Easy to install & Unistall + Lightweight. Can not go wrong whatsoever.

POWERS CAGES for sure!! They make a strong and very comfortable cage. Never had any problems with it or the company.

Re: Battle of the cages poll. Who makes the best and why?

Im runnin FI right now, only till i can afford to change it. it was a pain in the *** to put on. had to force everything in place. dropped it on its side doin 12s a couple times and ended up breaking my motor mount. another thing i dont like about FI is evrytime your bike falls over it pivots on that slider and does a fukin face plant, bends yur clipons and twist yours forks. probably gonna switch to Powers cage.

905 faceplants too.... and breaks motor mounts. its not the cage with the motor mounts breaking, its gonna happen eventually whenever you put steel against aluminum, aluminum being the softer of the 2 metals is going to be the one to give everytime...

Re: Battle of the cages poll. Who makes the best and why?

im glad to see that many people like the FI cage. I recently bought a 905 cage for my 03 r6 and hated it. The cage would had held up fine but my shins would hit it everytime i ride. Im 6'2'' and when i would sit on my bike my shins would be resting against the cage. It was not fun everytime i had to hit the brake. I had bruises for a week from just one hour of riding. Needless to say i took the 905 cage off a day after i bought it and bought the FI. Im hoping i would have the same problem but i dont think i will since it is constructed differently.
