Re: dirtbike stunting or not

dirtbikes are easy to ride-get on a SPORTBIKE and see if there's a difference.

Re: dirtbike stunting or not

ll..and i agree...a sportbikes is harder...but its the same concept....and if you ride a dirtbike or a motard and then go to a streetbike youre going to be killing it harder then the majority of people who started on a streetbike......but another...dirtbikes like 150s..100s.....tottally different then a 400 or 450

Re: dirtbike stunting or not

I think sportbikes are easier for straight out whilies though i can go all day on my six but gabage when it comes to my 125...
although i have to say since ive been hittin up the streetbikes now i can hit it up better on the dirt..they both just give you more skills....
i say ride anything and everything you can..

Re: dirtbike stunting or not

crf250 last year and the cr250 this year
I think the styles between the big bike and little bike is way different.
the big bike is more stable and smoother than the little bike cause the more powerful engine and more weight. The little bike is way lighter and takes more body movements and steader balance. but it also depends on what motor too. the 4 strokes are pretty easy to manage 2 strokes are tuff, mine put me on my *** good a few times so far.

Re: dirtbike stunting or not

Im riding it, I wouldnt say murdering it just yet cause its the kind of bike that demands respect. Ive gotten outta line with it a few times and it showed me whose boss. The biggest problem is it dosent run consistant every time and if you keep it too high for too long either in a stoppie or wheelie it lean surges really bad. Then it blows up! Still trying to get it set up for freestyle.

Re: dirtbike stunting or not

TTR's are prob the best learning tool out there for 1500 bucks and the cost to throw on a street tire you can build some feel of a larger bike with a clutch.
I learned stoppies, coasters, jump to seat stander all that on a ttr and for the most part it transfered to the big bike
