idle for no handers

whats good idle for a gix 1k for learning no handers? 3-4k?

I have a 750 -1 +14, and I do them at 4000. Hinks has a 1000 -3 +10, and he runs around 4000 also. I run it at 4000 sitting down....I back it off a little for stand ups...about 3500rpm.
