calling all 929's

Can anyone out there turn your ignition to the on position and let me know if your fuel light comes on for a few seconds. My fuel light isn't working and the manual states that it should come on when the ignition is on. I just wanna make sure there's a problem before I install a new fuel pump. My bike took 3.8 gals of gas the other day and I don't recall the light coming on. Thanks

Not Sure What You Are Asking? With The Key On The Light Does Not Come On Unless It Needs Gas. If It Is Low And The Light Is On Already Then The Light Stays On.

Re: calling all 929's

Thanks. I was just checking to make sure before I changed my fuel pump. A week ago, I changed my spark plugs and while removing the tank, maybe I messed something up. I filled my tank yesterday with 3.8 gallons of gas and I didn't (at least I don't recall) see my gas light come on. I inspected the wire connector from the fuel pump and it's ok.

I double checked for you.
When you turn the key on the low fuel light doesn't come on.
