high chair scrapes

since I've used this forum as my personal "learn to stunt" encyclopedia, I have had good pointers form alot of people. I am gonna attempt some high chair scrapes tonight, and I wondered if anyone had any last words of advice before I learn the hard way. I have parked a few tank wheelies, but they were always up and on the bar...I have never really tried to ride out of one. Anything I need to know, or just go for it?

Re: high chair scrapes

u trying to clutch out of them?
whats ur gearing?

go fast
ull think ur going fast, ur not trust me..go faster

1st gear real fast
gas all the way to the bar, pull clutch in..let rpms drop, and let it out..ull b all set

its all confidence man

faster the better, u can get out of crooked bar hits easier...

goodluck
but im sure ull b fine, just do it...then ull b like, ok that was easy...

Re: high chair scrapes

sorry that I left out some info there....I'm -1 +14. I'm just a little nervous because when I hit the bar slow it tends to wobble......do you recommend riding out of them on the tank first to get a feel for it? Thanks for the quick reply...you may have saved me some skin.

Re: high chair scrapes

ya scrape on tank first
u can bale on that
but dont panic

my bar isnt evens traight, cause my subframe is bent...
so i dont stay on bar long, just hit, drag a bit so rpmsm drop then let clutch out..

do tank, remember go fast
dont panic, even if it gets crooked, stay on, pull clutch, let it out, ull b fine

same thing with highchair, highchair is same,b ut is scary cause u cant bail..
goodluck man

Re: high chair scrapes

Thanks alot for the encouragement, Bro. Reading this board lately had me wondering if anyone talks about actual stunting anymore. I'll keep ya posted on the progress.

Yeah, where has he been? I haven't seen him since the ST party. If the rain stops, you and I ride, period.

Re: high chair scrapes

now I feel like a punk- I didn't even get to ride. I was all set to load my bike, and it started raining pretty hard. The spot we ride at is sealed asphalt, so nothing good was gonna come out of that idea. I have to say, though- all the replies have boosted my confidence alot. Hopefully I'll accomplish this trick Sunday.....today if it stops raining.
