Long Stoppies

i can roll stoppies for a good distance now but when i get up to the balance point going fast i get a front end wobble. I am bringing them up at like 45 mph. I dont have a steering dampener. Does it make that much of a difference. Do any of you guys that roll long stoppies lower front tire pressure or anything or just leave it at stock psi??????????????????????? thats for any help. :YEAH

Re: Long Stoppies

i tried it with lower psi but it sucked made it harder to steer them and to roll them out long. I have like 23-25 psi in it now i think, its been working good. And YES dampners to make a big difference. before you get too crazy with long ones get a dampner.

Re: Long Stoppies

45 isn't real fast for the loooooooong stoppies your talkin about rollin. 50 feet isn't long, 950 feet is long. you'll deff want a damper. Tire pressure is something you'll have to decide for yourself. the pressure is only gonna change the feel and ability to maneuver, and yes can affect distance but if your not comfortable with the feel you'll never get the distance.

Get a damper!!!!

practice with a 300ft run up try to go up 5-10 mph every other attempt. before you know it you'll have the back end up @80+ and roll'em out 500-600feet!!!!!

Good Luck, Stay Safe, & Always wear your gear.

Re: Long Stoppies

well there long for me anyway. im just starting to roll distance with some good height. I'm no pro, this is why i am asking for advice. I was just curious as to why i get the wobble. I would hate to get a wobble like that going any faster. I would lose it hard for sure. But the damper is in the mail. hopefully it will help for bringing it up at faster speeds. thanks for all the tips. Keep em comming if you got more. :YEAH
