Re: fork seals

get a manual, easy to do.
I could try to explain how to do it but it would turn out to be a long post that might raise more questions than answers, but any Clymer manual will tell ya everything ya need to know about ur bike.

Re: fork seals

Getting a manual is the best idea....the only thing tricky is getting the new seal back in if you don't have a fork seal driver. So when you are putting your new seal back in, put your old seal on top of it and drive it in with that so you don't mess up the good seal.

Re: fork seals

Sorry I can't help you but how can you tell when your fork seals are blown or when they're going bad?

Re: fork seals

My left one is blown, been riding with it like that. About to get cold here, so probably fix it over the winter... Hopefully have something different lined up for next year... :YEAH

Re: fork seals

Its Not Hard To Do But It Must Be Done Right. Even If You Have A Manual You Might Have Problems, Judging By Your Questions. Forks Are Very Important, Do Not Ride Like That Or You Will Tear Up Internal Parts As Well. Take The Forks Off(both Sides) And Pay To Have Them Done, You Will Save A Little By Taking Them Off The Bike.
