ex500 en500 ??? need help

i'm re gearing my 1998 kawasaki ninja 500r but theres 2 very different 500's. the ex has a 47 tooth sprocket and the en has a 42 . also what would be the best for wheelies i was thinking 3 down in front and 2 up in the back any help would be cool

The en500 is the vulcan cruiser, the ex500 is the ninja.... -3 in the front would give the chain too small of an angle to rotate around. Do something like -1, +2 if you want to keep some of your top end. But the best advice I can give is sell the bike and get a 600.

dont go -3 in the front, just go -1/+5 or +7... it'll be alot smoother than 3 down in the front...

yep, down too many in the front puts too much stress on the "driveshaft"
