Hand break ,skillz or not?

Hand break ,skillz or not?
Just a question out of curiosity. If a person can ride a highway wheelie at BP, if this person added a handbreak how difficult would it be to do BP highway spreaders and highchairs. What I am trying to ask is will it be easy to convert from a standup to tank wheelies since they have the protection of a rear break still, or will it still be hard to do.. I can barley do a wheelie so this question is simply out of curiosity so don't flame me

a spreader or a highchair would be just as difficult as it would be any other time... a hand brake doesnt make tricks easier, its there for insurance brake control when a foot cannot work the rear brake, such as in a highchair or a spreader, bla bla bla.... you get the idea i hope..

i never use my rear brake when doing BP wheelies.not to save my *** not to slow down,nothing...ive been to the point my tail touched and came down HARD just from leting off the throttle most of the people i ride with use throttle control to keep balanced

Humm Not me. Rear brake. Can slow em down faster and is much safer. I feel you'll have more controll with a Handbrake with any trick off the pegs. Insurence and added controll. A wheelie is just much more stable with a loaded rear brake.
PS. Skill factor... Humm I'm still out on that. It does take alot of skill to slow a bike down with no brake but it also takes skill to slow a bike down REAL fast with brake.

Re: Hand break ,skillz or not?
one other thing I'll add. I put a hand brake on my bike about a month ago....I thought it would be the answer to everything-not the case. I can say that for me, learning how to use the handbrake effectively is just like learning a new trick. It definately takes some getting used to.

Well I'll just stick to the brake when I can reach it.
