stuntin bike

wassup,

after riding an R6 for about a year now i'm really getting interested in doing some stuntin. i don't want to trash my spotless bike so i am planning on buying an older bike and just beat the **** out of it. I was thinking along the lines of a 929 or a gsxr 1000.

what is everyones opinion on a good stunting bike for 12's and highchairs etc. i figured a 929 or gsxr since they have alot of torque, i also heard that yamaha subframes will warp if you 12oclock them.

also, where would be the best place to find a used bike to buy. i would like something in the 3k range and a cage/bar.

thanks!

umm your not gonna get a 1000 or a 929 for 3k...look into a 900rr or somethin older like that...makes a great stunt bike and they are readily available

Man I looped my bike about a month ago and I'm also looking for a bike in the 3k range. I do know though that like the man above me said that you will definitely not get a 929 or 1000 for 3k. Whatever you do be careful and take it slow. Those are gonna be some bigger bikes compared to the r6 obviously... If you find some deals on some bikes then let me know because I'm looking too...

I dunno.. my man muddufugga picked up an erion 929 from a salvage auction that wasnt in bad shape at all for under 2Gs. It all depends on who you know. You can get a nice F4i for that price though.

I agree. You can definately find anything you want for $3,000 or less, if your talking stunt bike style. Auctions are the way to roll. And any bike you get will highchair, 12, etc. Just depends on what you want.

These would be my top 5 for choices:
F4i
636
900rr
929
gixxer1000.

Re: stuntin bike

This is one of the better places I've found for cheap *** bikes. Lots of extra taxes and bullshit though. But if you could get it for like a g then with everything you'd have a slightly rashed stunter for cheap as hell. Most of the bikes aren't bad at all! Check them out. Here's the site:

Re: stuntin bike

If you already ride a 600 then you should buy another 600 for a stunt bike. You'll save money. All you really need is different sprockets and learn how to clutch everything. Get a gsxr or the f4, f4i.
