Aaarrgh !!!! need to add a link on the chain !!!

Aaarrgh !!!! need to add a link on the chain !!!
I just ordered a 46t rear sprocket for my 929rr. When I went to put it it one I started bitching cuz I need just about 1/4 more out of the chaIN TO GET IT ON... IS THE A WAY TO ADD A LINK AND NOT GET A NEW CHAIN. ????

you could always get a -1 front sprocket for <$15

I cant justy add a master link because it doesnt come with the inside part just the outside(master link) Whare can I get a 15t front for 15$ ???

I checked it out ... they sell tghem allright but looks more like 30$ than 15$
