Re: first scrape???

are you standing up? are you sitting down? what is your stance? so you have the rear brake down? are you riding then setting it back or are you just popping it up and getting right to the bar??

Re: first scrape???

Hey man at least your getting back there. Keep practicing. Some people just get it right away. My friend just pulled his first scrapes today. He did like 5 in a row perfectly on a F3 with a pipe (stock gears). I cant get them for the life of me yet but Ill keep working on it. You do the same man good luck.

Re: first scrape???

I've got the same problem. The only place I can ride the rode slants to the left pretty bad. I try to keep it straight but it goes left everytime. It's a scary feeling when your about to scrape and the bike starts to go to the left. I cant wait to find a level parking lot!!! :

Re: first scrape???

Yeah the bar is still a little long but this is his first scrape and his tail isnt all there either. Hes still learning. Also note the stock gears on the F3...

Re: first scrape???

That seem a good way to learn. Just shorten the 12 bar as your skills get better.Good luck

yo man that is a nice pic and all but your not even close to 12 on that one you need to shorten that bar about 6 to 8 inches to be at 12 guy but keep trying

Re: first scrape???

why don't you try riding the wheelie slow for a little while, get it 100% straight, then let it go back on the bar, whenever you go straight to the bar, it seems like a lot of people won't have it straight and it will hit wrong and you will go down.....so, try that see if it helps....
good luck
