bleeding the brakes ?
well since my stupid *** friend looped a stoppie, i now have a case of a leaky front master cylinder.
ANYWAYS, the parts are on teh way from ebay and will probbaly involve taking off the lines and cylinder.
do you bleed em just liek a car? im guessing so, just thpught i would ask.
im guessing you squeeze the lever, hold it, bleed it, tighten bolt back up and let go... right?

Re: bleeding the brakes ?
Ya that's basically right,
But remember the brakes on the 954 are serious, these are real touchy so you don't have to pull very much in on the lever, I just kinda flick ita couple times and it's useually good. Plus Be careful, I'm sure you already know this but DOT 4 is a paint and plastic eater so use lots of rags. When I did my master cylinder I put plastic over the gas tank but just a little bit splashed up in the windscreen and left a nasty mark, so be careful.
Oh, and so you know lockhart Phillips makes an easy bleeder and it's only like 10 bucks or something, I think it's just a replacement nipple but a friend of mine used one and totally swears by it.
The DOT 4 makes bleeding a little bit of a pain in the **** but if you don't get it on the 1st or 2nd try, drain and refill, it cuts the time being frustrated down a lot.
