I already said I can't power it up, it's impossible, I used to be able to do it at 10k in first on a power surge with my RS-3 but with the stock pipe the powerband is too linear.

I meant it as a joke by the way.

My friend lives on 5000 feet hes got a '01 r600 n he can power up on it. ur talkin (no offence)

ve pretty much ridden everything.well not everything but a ton, I am no wheelie expert by any means but yes your bike will power wheelie. It's the way your riding it. For a long time I was like "boo hoo" like you. "my bike won't power wheelie" Well, hell yes it will if you let it, It's your position and your nut size. See inline fours are pretty notorious for high horsepower, but low in torque. once your weight is distributed appropriatly there should be no problems at all. Trust me.
You should know, I mean you say you rock in the twisties right? Well, I don't know one single person,,,,not one!(just so you know that sais a lot since i've been on two wheels for over a decade) that has the ability to drag a knee and hasn't wheelied out of a turn. Just for proof I saw a guy recently power up his Katana (ya,, the bike you just dissed) in second near Conifer (that's in the mountains dweeb). Plus, I ride with a guy all the time with an older R6 who does it in second with hardly any bounce. Your Gixxer should do it twice as well as that dudes.
Maybe it's the power band,,Like you said you've had your knee down right???
So, being such a track Guru I'm sure you know your bikes exact power band and I'm sure you know about suspension compression and all that so I guess you should be schooling all of us. Pfft.

I'm sorry to hear about your loop, that sucks so bad, glad your alright though well, maybe not allright but not dead. That road rash stuff sucks the first time you shower huh? I hate that soooo bad.
