I have seen a few people takin there exhaust totally off like cutin the mid pipe. I know it works on the r1 cause of the exup, but i think the 929s or 54s have exhaust valves. I know it needs a little baffling fo back pressure and noise. I seen a guy on green mountain outlaws dustin that has this done on a 929 if any 1 can let me know how this is done. THANx

I Don't Know If This Helps, But I Cracked My Pipe Off [dropped It Off A Slow 12 To The Right] Just Behind The Exhaust Pipe Valve. The Bike Still Runs Great, It's Loud As F@#k, But Still Runs/rides Great.

Just take it off find you a band saw to use or a big a$$ chop saw and cut it as short as you want it, re-revit the end back on it or however your end piece connects and you're done.
