the forks

finally happened, hit a f#ckin pothole and it sent me off the left side of the road straight into the grass/rock median of highway 17, there's almost no cosmetic damage to the bike but it feels really weird going down the road, not so much as vibrating but it wobbles almost, is this the forks? and the oil light is coming on and going off, so im sure theres oil up in the engine where its not supposed to be, the bike is brand new with a 2yr warranty on it, will warranty usually cover damages like this, i mean generally?

EDIT: ok that pretty damn vague, i wrecked the bike, it went down on the right side, theres almost no cosmetic damage at all, surprisingly enough, but the bike feels like it has a wobble to it and the engine oil light comes on and stays on about 5-10 seconds after the bike starts and randomly comes on and goes off

Re: the forks

I wouldn't expect a warranty to cover you dropping the bike...

Re: the forks

a warranty is supposed to cover manufacturer defects, not rider stupidity. just like a car, if you get in a wreck under warranty your insurance pays for all damages... not the dealer.

there pretty tight with what they will cover on warranty issues, theres alot of people out there that deserve warranty fix's and they will not honor them, they wouldnt fix my rear master cylinder when i took mine up there because its supposingly a competition bike, but oh well my bad.............
