954 Brake Problems Help!!!
OK this is wierd i crashed and the fitting that the tube from the resevior for the front brake broke so i raplaced the fitting into the master and filled with new fluid and bled like a 10000 times no bubbles. When the bike is sitting there it has good brake lever but if i move the bike like 2 feet i have to pump the handle to get pressure again its stupid. I know this is sually what happenes when you have a bubble in the system you get spongy handle. I have beld so many times. There aer no leaks either in teh whole system. ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!

Re: 954 Brake Problems Help!!!
Ok,
First forget that the symptom happens when the bike moves ok because the system is independant which means that the brake will work without even being attached to the bike. There is no doubt that there is air in the line. Sometimes,,actually most of the time, bleeding can be a serious pain in the ****. You might have a leak in the system as well. So test that out.
But if you bleed the brakes a couple times and there is still some fade then drain the system and repeat, also make sure your useing DOT 4 and DO NOT GET IT ON THE PAINT OR PLASTIC. Lockhart makes an easy bleeder which is just a different fitting (they are cheap) I haven't used one but I have heard good things about them. Check the pressure in the lines. ALSO, did you replace the banjo crush washers, cause if you didn't that is your problem.
Try those things and post back,,,I'll do my best to help you out.

Re: 954 Brake Problems Help!!!
Had The Same Problem On My Older 900rr. It End'd Up Being A Bad Master Cylinder. The Ring Inside It Was Bad And Was Not Keeping Pressure In The System. Changed It And Everything Worked Fine. Mine Gave Me The Same Bleeding , That Yours Is Giving You, Solid Fluid, So I Thought It Wasn't It Too. Hope This Helps.

I would bet that you have a bent rotor.....when you push the bike forward, the bent part of the rotor pushes the pistons back into the caliper. That's usually the reason why you have to pump 'em up again to get a good lever feel.

yeah check you rotors dude might be bent ?? but more important bleed that fuka from the master rather from the calipers master first then calipers ... sounds like you have air in your master bleed it from the bolt and let me know how you make out .. and as far as the bajo washers ahahahahahahahahahahaha as long as there not cracked and pissing all over tell that dude he's a reeege and they make mmi schools for ill mind like that hahahahahahahahahahaahah

Re: 954 Brake Problems Help!!!
my buddy had the same problem on his 636. between the dealer and him they bled the brakes 5x and the same result kept coming up, no brake pressure when the bike is moving. one of his rotors ended up being out of round it was about 25mm off from being true and had a hair line crack. luckily kawi replaced the rotor under warranty. and his bike was never in a crash.
