Thumbs up Re: temp gauge prob

ROFL, need a new temp sensor, its normaly located at the bottem on the radiator, easy to replace. just need a wrench set, its like 10-12mm.. and two-three wires.. Real simple.

Re: temp gauge prob

Heat kills electronics, once they die or what not, they either A: don't do anything, or B: Do weird ****..., so the other day i was peepin arround in my fairings for weird ****, and i noticed my coolant temp sensor in the bottom right corner of my radiator, looked almost exactly the same as a 1974 datuns/nissan 240z i was like hmm..im still pretty biketarded, thought lots expierence on cars helping me

Re: temp gauge prob

check to see if the wire is grounded against metal like the block or the frame... If the sensor wire is shorted it could do that or it jsut got old and the resistance in the sensor **** the bed...
