fork seal question

my buddy's fork seal is leaking a bit.
we got new seal but not sure how much its gonna cost to have it done at the dealership.
and also how hard is it to do yourself.

It's not hard at all to do them yourself. Either hang the bike from straps or use a front stand. Some bikes with inverted forks you can actually do them without taking the forks off the bike. Make sure you have something to measure your oil with, and a piece of PVC just a hair bigger than your fork diameter to use as a seal driver for the new seals.
