636 2nd Gear Wheelie
Hey, new to this board and new to stunting.
Trying to get the thing up in 2nd. I know it's easy with this bike, but I don't have the technique, so I'm asking all the vets who have this bike. What speed, rpm, etc for a 2nd Gear clutch wheelie? I've been told to bump it as well.
Much appreciated.

Re: 636 2nd Gear Wheelie
here's what i do on my 636, start going at about 55mph in 2nd gear, get up on your pegs bounce it while holding the throttle steady and when its coming back up from a bounce gas it up and it'll jump right up there;s no need for clutch bouncing 2nd gear comes up easily and smoothly, Your body position and time matters the most. Watch some videos if you need to. It;'ll take alot of pratice but it is done and when you start hitting the balance point you can ride the 2nd gear out forever i do it all the time
Good luck and stunt safe

Thanks for the replies all. I'll try bouncin it in 2nd and then powerin it up.
Not too sure if I reall ywanna do a standing wheelie. My buddy's cousin tried to hit like 10 or 11 o clock and went too far and flipped his R1. So I don't wanna be #2 on the list, lol

I cant bounce mine up in 2nd .I go anywhere from 35mph to 70mph and give it about full throttle and let the clutch fly then let of a little to get it at the height i want it. RPM depends on what speed youre going(aruond 9,000 for 35mph).I start sitting and as soon as it starts to come up i stand up.Ifound it alot easier putting my left foot on the back peg.Hope something i said helps.MAKE SURE YOU COVER THE REAR BRAKE that way you can get it back down if it goes to high.
